Ignite your Lifelong learning this fall with a six-week series on The Challenge of Powering a Sustainable World.

Peter Lang, a retired pilot and founder of Dunedin Energy Systems, presents his expertise on the science of energy, electric power, nuclear energy and the safety and environmental impact of power. He has been an innovator in developing micronuclear power in Canadian northern communities. Peter is joined by Ismael El-Samahy , a professional electrical and computer engineer, to examine the electrical distribution grid on Oct. 28 and by Jay Harris, a nuclear power operator to talk about energy storage on Nov. 4.
Lectures are Friday mornings at New Life Church at 10 a.m. until noon. After the presentation there is an opportunity for discussion and questions with the lecturer. Included with your pass, the lectures are also available to watch or re-watch on recorded video until June.
