This Saturday, members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association will be at Collingwood Public Library for a stop on their Explore Islam cross-Canada tour.
The group will be visiting more than 1,000 cities, towns, and villages on the tour, which brings an interactive component to each stop.
"Muslim youth will participate in two-way dialogue to experience the cultures, point of views, and perspectives from Canadians of all walks of life," states a news release from the group. "We aim to showcase the true and peaceful teachings of Islam."
The event seeks to introduce more Canadians to Muslims and the teachings they follow.
The Explore Islam exhibition will be at the Collingwood Public Library on Dec. 17 from noon to 5 p.m.
