DEN BOK, Tom Anthony

Tom passed away in his home on December 8th, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family.

Tom was born to parents Johannes (Joop) and Helena (Leny) den Bok on August 31st, 1964, and will forever be remembered as their loving son. He will be remembered as the devoted husband of Micheline (nee Mohlmann) and the dedicated father of Danielle den Bok, Kristen den Bok (Aaron Matthews), Nicole den Bok (Perry Thomson), and Luke den Bok (Jessica Gnesin). He is survived by sisters Carolina (Steve) Kay, Wendy (Paul) Stephens and sister-in-law Roxanne den Bok. He is predeceased by his sister Bonnie and brother Wayne. He will also be missed by his extended family, his friends, his neighbours and community.

Tom was a vibrant, dynamic, and generous man of faith. He was incredibly talented with his hands in woodworking and home design, among many other unique projects. He was always keen to help the community and many others who had the chance to meet him. You would often find him singing with the choir, hiking, skiing, or paddling the great outdoors, and spending time building in his workshop. With a deep love from his family, he will be greatly missed in all facets of their lives.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday December 20th from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at Fawcett Funeral Home in Collingwood. The service will take place on December 21st at 2:00 pm with visiting starting at 1:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Collingwood.
