Firefighters brought the house fire on Rhonda Road under control quickly.

The Ontario Fire Marshal's office has been called in to investigate the cause and origin of a fire in Collingwood Saturday evening.

A house fire on Rhonda Road brought the Collingwood Fire Department out in force yesterday.

The bungalow caught fire before 8 p.m. on March 23.

Fire crews had the blaze under control by about 8:30 p.m. with water lines running from nearby hydrants.

Acting Fire Chief Stephen Emo said one person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

The smoky fire was contained to one house and Emo said the house may not be a total loss, but the damage is still being assessed.

The investigator from the Fire Marshal's office is expected later today.
