As Doug Ford's Progressive Conservatives again won the provincial election, local PC candidates Brian Saunderson and Paul Vickers will be part of it.
In Simcoe-Grey, Brian Saunderson took an early lead and kept it, with Liberal candidate Ted Crysler taking the second place spot.
By 9:30 p.m., just half an hour after polls closed, Saunderson had 11,461 votes, or about 54 per cent of the vote, while Crysler had 17,361 (32 per cent).
In Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound newcomer Paul Vickers won for the PCs.
