Bullet

Hi friends, Bullet here, and am I ever looking forward to meeting you! I'm a big, fluffy Northern guy here to steal hearts. At about 70lbs of handsome furriness and around 1.5 years old, I'm a fun young dude ready to start my new life with a fun new family.

I arrived at GTHS through their Transfer Program after making a very long trip down South from way up North. And boy is it warm here... I sure hope you've got a good brush at home, some reliable AC and maybe a hose or lake or iceberg handy for the summer months?? haha *starts panting just talking about summer in southern Ontario*

I truly am so fluffy and beautiful that I catch the eye of most people who see me walking by! I'm actually quite silly and goofy and LOVE to run around the dog yard here at GTHS at top speed so you can see how fast I am! "Fast as a Bullet" you might say... So, I hope you're ready for a dog who loves zoomies and needs to run, run, run!

I've been a really lovely boy with the humans here at GTHS so far and have been trying my very best to please people as best I can. When we go out for our walks (which I LOVE by the way), I admit, I'm a little excitable at first, but do settle and actually have quite lovely leash manners for an energetic young guy! I do my best to check in with my handler on walks too, just to make sure you think I'm being a good boy hehe

Now, when it comes to other doggies, there are definitely some important things I need to share.

I 100 per cent prefer the ladies *wink* so, if you have another doggie at home who is a boy, unfortunately I don't think you and I will be a good match.

The GTHS humans have been doing some great work with me and have been helping me to learn how to not get so worked up around certain dogs and in certain situations, so it will certainly be very important that my new family understands this, is comfortable continuing to work with me on this and of course, has dog experience please!

I seem to get extra hyped when I see dogs while I'm on my leash or on another side of the fence, so this is another thing my new family should keep in mind when determining if I might be a suitable doggie for them or not (i.e. lots of doggies out walking in the neighbourhood or lots of shared backyard fences with other dogs will mean lots of work for my new humans and I!).

All of that said, I really am working SO hard to overcome some of these...hurdles and am trying my best to learn how to act properly around new dogs I see. I just know I'm going to be such a wonderful addition to the right family with the right home setting. Oh and if I could please make one more tiny request? In order for me to be as successful as possible, the GTHS humans are asking that my new home not have any tiny humans under 12 years old please. I sure hope that's okay!

So, if you have some great dog experience under your belt and are keen to bring home a sweet guy who just needs some continued work (I promise, I'll always try to learn quickly and be my very best for my new family) then we just might be a great match! Oh and don't forget about all that running hehe owners who live an active lifestyle and can meet my exercise needs and take me on ALL the fun outdoors adventures I dream of having would be the absolute family jackpot for me.

My adoption fee is $400 and includes my neuter, up to date vaccinations, dewormer and microchip.

I'm very very excited to meet my new human soon. I just know we're going to be the BEST of buds!

Wags and zooms,
xoxo Bullet
