Karma
Hey humans, Karma here, and I sure hope I have some good karma coming my way for my future family!
I arrived here at GTHS waaaay back in June, if you can believe it, with my sweet little (not so young anymore) baby, Cotton, in tow. We came when some things changed for the humans we were living with and it was decided that little Cotton and I needed to find new families to call our own.
I'm two years old, about 9lbs, and truly have the most stunning grey coat (although the humans say I play hard to get when it comes to photo time hehe so it's hard to tell from my pics).
My daughter, Cotton, is about a little over one year old and when we first arrived, I used to choose to spend alllll of my time with her. I just love her so! But, as time's gone on, I've developed some independence and actually am kind of enjoying not having my daughter clinging to my side all the time haha
I'm really liking this whole "being my own cat" thing now. I'll admit, it took me a pretty long time to settle in here at GTHS (I was super shy initially), but now I'm always out and about exploring the room, playing with toys, or happily greeting and approaching humans looking for some love, attention or playtime!
Overall, I'm a very sweet girl. A bit shy to start while I'm getting to know you, but then I turn into the biggest love bug once I know I can trust you and that you're a kind and loving human. I have the softest little meow and really am quite a calm and quiet girl so far, for being so young still.
Once I get into my new home, I may revert back to my shy ways for a while but if you're okay giving me a bit of time, I think you'll see the true, confident, and social Karma flourish in no time.
Although I do take a bit of time to settle in and get to know you, I truly believe I'll make a wonderful companion for the right person. If you've got a calm and quiet home (no young kids under 12 please) then I hope you'll consider me!
Oh, and you may have noticed that I'm now in the Overlooked Pets Program. This means that my stay at GTHS has been THREE TIMES LONGER than the average length of stay for kitties here. I'm such a wonderful and sweet girl, the humans can't figure out why I haven't been scooped up by a loving family yet!
My Overlooked Pets adoption fee is just $25 and includes my spay, up-to-date vaccinations, de-wormer, and a microchip.
I can't wait for my purrfect new family to find me soon!
xoxo Karma
