Adopt Me: Rosey is looking for an active family (adopted)

She does have anxiety sometimes when left alone, so an owner who understands this would be best

Rosey

Hi humans, my name is Rosey. I'm a lovely one-year-old girl here at GTHS to find my fun new family! I'm a nice sized pup at just under 60lbs and have no shortage of love to give.

You probably have already guessed it but yes, I'm a northern girl. I arrived at GTHS through their Transfer Program with some other dogs and puppies after making one heck of a long trip down here from Northern Ontario.

I'm a VERY sweet girl who can be a little nervous when first meeting new people, but I warm up quickly. I am an affectionate lady too and like to show my happiness by leaning into your body, asking for more pets and head scratches, please!

I'm adjusting pretty well to life at GTHS so far but can be a little chatty in my kennel sometimes, so a condo or apartment wouldn't be ideal for me. We don't want your neighbours upset if I'm in a talkative mood hehe

I have really been enjoying off-leash play time with the other dogs here at GTHS so far! I'm a bit of a rough player sometimes hehe so not all dogs are the right playmates for me, but I am very friendly and social other canine pals so far.

I'm also a very active and outdoorsy girl, so finding a person or family who are also active and outdoorsy sounds just right. I want to go on all of your adventures with you, please!

I'm also very clever and a big time food lover, so doing basic obedience and teaching me fun new tricks will be a great activity for us and a great way for us to continue to bond. I've actually been told that I'm "one of the most trainable dogs" my foster has ever met! How cool is that?

I've been a total superstar with my training here at GTHS so far too and am already dazzling the humans with some of my basic commands and how quick a learner I am.

I do have a few teeny things that my new humans will need to be mindful of though. In my previous foster, I didn't love lots of alone time....it makes me a bit anxious... so, having humans who are understanding of this and experienced in dealing with a dog who can display some anxiety at times will be very important in helping me be the best Rosey I can be!

I LOVE outside time (did I mention that already? hehe), so I sure hope my new family will have a nice secure, fenced in yard for me to spend lots of time in.

I promise I'm going to make a really great addition to any active family who enjoys spending time outside and wants a dog to join them on all of their adventures. Dog experience and a desire to continue stimulating this clever brain of mine will be important, don't forget!

My adoption fee is $400 and includes my spay, up to date vaccinations, de-wormer and a microchip. I can't wait to meet my new family soon and start this exciting next chapter!

Wags and leans,
xoxo Rosey
