Hi humans!
Taurus here!!
I'm a sweet (youthful) senior at 8 years old here at GTHS to find myself a wonderful new family.
There is a lot of handsome cat here to love as I'm about 17lbs of Taurusy-goodness!
And I do mean goodness! I'm such a kind and loving big guy.
I can be a bit nervous with new human friends at first but it sure doesn't take long before I'm rolling into your hand for more pets and scratches! Because of my initial shyness, I would ask that I please find a home with no young kids. 12+ is probably good for a boy like me.
I'm a pretty easy going fella and can often be found napping in the sunshine or perched up in a cat tree or cozy bed, watching the world going on around me.
Once I'm all caught up on my cat naps, you might even catch a glimpse of this young senior doing the zoomies or expertly scaling all the climbing structures here in the big GTHS Cat Room, hehe.
Although affectionate with my people that I know, I'd mostly describe myself as independent, fairly quiet (though I have been known to get in a chatty mood here and there) and am a bit of a couch potato to be honest! So, if you enjoy a cozy morning reading in your chair or evenings watching tv on the couch, I sure would love to keep that spot beside you nice and warm!
I guess you're also probably wondering about this "Special Paws" thing? It's really no big deal, I just need to be on a special type of food to keep my tummy happy and to make me feel good and healthy! I will just need to make sure my future family understands that I will always need to be on this special food.
Like I said, no big deal, right?! So, to help me find my purrfect family, they have lowered my adoption fee to just $25! and will, of course, give my new humans lots of information on my special food and why I need to eat it!
So, if a big, handsome, lovely older boy sound like what you're looking for, then I'm your guy.
My adoption fee of $25 includes my neuter, up to date vaccinations, dewormer and a microchip!
I can't wait to meet you soon and start a wonderful, relaxed, lounging-filled life together.
