About Us
Since our founding in 1999, the Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) has been providing homes to the Georgian Triangle's homeless pets. The GTHS proudly serves a number of communities in the Georgian Triangle, including Wasaga Beach, Stayner, Creemore, Collingwood, The Blue Mountains, Thornbury, Clarksburg, and Meaford. Our mission has always been to deliver innovative programs and compassionate services that enhance the lives of pets in need, and the people who care for them. Through our hard work and dedication to our mission, we dream and work towards a world in which there are no stray, unwanted, abandoned, neglected or abused companion animals. We look to achieve this goal by building awareness of animal welfare, and promoting responsible pet ownership.
The Georgian Triangle Humane Society's core values include:
Through the continued generosity of our surrounding community, and the hard work of our employees and volunteers, the GTHS is able to operate our animal shelter, offer a number of innovative programs, as well as offer a number of pet services including public spay/neuter surgeries for financially limited pet owners through our Animal Hospital. The GTHS is fully funded by our community and surrounding areas, and receives no government funding.
