After twenty of operation, we offer an exceptional family atmosphere, with fun and affordable programming. As a result of excellent customer service and quality dance education, we’ve been voted the region’s Favourite Dance Studio 10 years in a row and have been home to over 1000 dancers.
We are proud of our highly-qualified dance instructors whose credentials include dance diplomas and degrees, professional dance association memberships, and experience in dance performance and education.
When choosing The DanceRoom, you are choosing a studio that is student and family-centered. We work to create well-rounded dancers who are skilled, versatile, and have strong character. We strive to create a warm, welcoming environment for all. We carefully consider age-appropriateness and safety when choosing costuming, choreography, and music. We believe in frequent communication, transparency, and learning from dance families like you. Our fee structures are unique as they are all- inclusive. Costuming, photos, tuition, and more are spread out amongst monthly payments to make for an affordable dance experience.
We ensure quality dance education. Classes are structured with professional dance syllabi so your family gets the most for their investment. We instruct toddlers to adults, in recreational as well as part-time and full-time competitive programs. We provide examination classes, where your dancer can work towards assessments in various styles. Our dancers have received top competitive awards, achieved outstanding exam results, represented Team Canada - placing 2nd - on the IDO world stage, and earned regional and international scholarships. Some students have gone on to post-secondary and pre-professional dance studies including Quinte Ballet School, York University, and Point Park University.
