Holiday Season Service Impacts and Closures


The following town services, locations, and programs will be impacted and will have reduced hours this holiday season. Days/hours not specified are operating under normal hours of service for the holidays.

Town Hall & Municipal Offices
Closed December 24 at 12:00 p.m. until January 2 at 8:30 a.m.

Public Transit

  • Colltrans will offer service until 6:00 p.m. on December 24 and no service on December 25 and January 1.
  • TransitPLUS will offer service until 6:00 p.m. on December 24 and no service on December 25. 
  • Blue Mountain Link will offer regular hours of operation throughout the holidays.

Collingwood Public Library
Closed December 24 & 31 at 1:00 p.m., and all day December 25, 26, and January 1.

Collingwood Museum
Closed December 23-26, and December 30-January 1. Regular hours of operation commence December 27 & 28, and January 2.

Collingwood Aquatic Centre
Closed December 24 & 31 at 12:00 p.m., and all day December 25, 26, and January 1. A holiday schedule will be in place for the duration of the school break.

Central Park Arena and Eddie Bush Memorial Arena
Closed December 24 & 31 at 12:00 p.m., and all day December 25, 26, and January 1.

Central Park Outdoor Rink
Closed December 24 & 31 at 4:00 p.m. Closed all day December 25, 26, and January 1.

Many self-serve options, including applying for permits, paying taxes, purchasing/ renewing a dog license, and more are available 24/7/365 online using official Town partners, including Paymentus and Docupet (for dog licensing).
