Theatre Collingwood is a not-for-profit, professional arts organization that was founded by members of the community nearly 40 years ago. Today, Theatre Collingwood remains dedicated to presenting the finest talent, in live theatre productions, concerts, family oriented programming and drama education for the communities of Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, The Blue Mountains and surrounding areas.
Erica Angus is our Executive Director and our creative visionary. Our small but mighty team works hard to bring you the very best in authentic arts and culture experiences, but we couldn't do it without our amazing volunteers! We value this support so much and we always welcome new people. To get involved and share your talents, please Contact Us Today!
Theatre Collingwood is also a leading voice in a grassroots community initiative that is working with the Town of Collingwood to create a world class arts, culture and entertainment centre in South Georgian Bay. Please visit CollingwoodArts.com to register your support and stay up to date on our progress.
Until we have a fully accessible home for Theatre Collingwood, we present our shows and events at a variety of unique local venues, both indoors and out! Our creative approach to choosing locations ensures that they are fully accessible for our artists and our audiences, providing entertainment opportunities without barriers for participation.
In 2023, we are presenting our PORCHSIDE FESTIVALfor the 3rd year in wonderful backyards showcasing Collingwood and area homes. There will be 10 great shows this year, presenting a diverse range of talents while still keeping the intimate quality of our backyard performances. PORCHSIDE runs throughout July and tickets go quickly so make sure you subscribe to our e-newsletter to stay up-to-date with our offerings.
Our traditional subscription theatre series also returns this year with 5 week-long productions from April through September. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online, by phone or in-person at our Collingwood Box Office. Click Here for more information.
Special events are also happening throughout the year, and we encourage you to sign-up for our e-newsletter to hear about upcoming shows and events. Our annual “Sunday in the Vineyard” is always a sell-out event, this year will be held on June 25th and is not to be missed.
For visitors to the area, you definitely want to check out our WINE, DINE, STAY & PLAY partners! From exquisite dining in the heart of downtown Collingwood, to wineries overlooking the Beaver Valley, to resort-style accommodations near the waterfront, there are many ways to complement your theatre experience with wonderful things to do in our community. Our partners offer unique products and services, and many also offer discounts when you present your Theatre Collingwood ticket. Be sure to ask!
