The Labour Day long weekend marks the Sundown on Summer at Blue Mountain Village this Friday to Monday, and it will be going out with a bang ... on the drums.

The Summer Sundown series kicks off on Friday, Sept. 1 with Bamtastic! interactive drumming at 3 p.m. at the Welcome Centre.

Simultaneously, the Jenny Howes Duo will be on the Subaru outdoor stage from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for a free concert. The duo takes traditional pop, classic rock, and grunge favourites and gives them an original makeover.

Out in the pond at 6 p.m., Aaron Garner and band will be on the floating stage to perform blues and Canadian rock. This will be the last concert on the pond of the summer.

On Satuday, there will be live music on the outdoor stage by James Blonde Band at 8 p.m.

During the day, families can join in for Groove Dancing from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

On Sunday, Sawyer Bullock, Magician Ordinaire, will be performing a magic show at 2 p.m. The music for the evening includes Mo Guzman at 6 [.m. and Conor Gaines at 8:15 p.m., both on the Subaru Stage.

The entertainment continues Monday, Sept. 4 at noon with a performance from solo-acoustic, folk-rock, singer-songwriter, Jeremiah Hill on the Subaru Stage until 3 p.m.

The concerts and entertainment outdoors this weekend will be free. There are also paid attractions at Blue Mountain Village, for a list, click here.
