Blue Mountain Village is officially launching the Christmas season tomorrow night.

Opening night festivities include a visit from Santa, who will be driving through on the Coca-Cola Holiday Truck Tour on Nov. 19, as well as carol singing, photos with Yeti, Santa on his sleigh, and a visit from an ice princess.

The Village is decked out in garlands and bows, and holiday music sets the scene. In the evening, the interactive Holiday Light Trail comes alive with one-kilometre of light displays.

Through the season, there will be live holiday music, street performers, warming stations, fires, horse-drawn carriage rides and visits from Santa.

Saturday evenings from Nov. 20 to Dec. 18 will also include fireworks over the Mill Pond.

Village shops will be keeping later hours, and will also feature Christmas displays and activities. Visit BlueMountainVillage.ca for more.

On Saturday, Collingwood Downtown BIA welcomes Christmas with the annual Santa Claus parade starting at 5 p.m. followed by the downtown Christmas tree lighting.
