When a two-foot clown fish waddles past you on the street, her balance thrown off by an orange pumpkin bucket loaded with lollies, you know it's going to be a good day.
Hundreds of kids and their parents, grandparents, guardians, and friends waddled, danced, skipped, and shuffled down Hurontario street today for the annual downtown trick-or-treat day. Local businesses gave out candy and there were plenty of other activities for kids from late morning through to the afternoon.
A costume contest took place at town hall. No word yet on the winners, but this reporter did see a little boy in a safari hat riding a giraffe, and he seemed committed to his role as he scoured the Collingwood plains spotting candy-giving locations.
Enjoy these photos of the kids in their costumes.
