A local consulting firm has been chosen again for Mediacorp Canada's list of the nation's top small and medium employers.
C.F. Crozier and Associates, based in Collingwood, is celebrating a second consecutive year on the list.
“It is a privilege to once again be named one of Canada’s Top Small and Medium Employers,” said Nick Mocan, Crozier president, in a news release. “As Crozier celebrates its 20th anniversary year delivering excellence in land development services, this recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to growing careers and cultivating an industry-leading, collaborative workplace."
The Mediacorp list has been going for 11 years as an editorial competition recognizing Canada's best workplaces.
“What’s remarkable about the employers on this year’s list is how quickly and effectively they’ve worked to create rewards and other programs developed from employee input,” said Kristina Leung, managing editor of the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project, in the news release. “Small and medium employers have enviable levels of customization, flexibility and speed-of-implementation that are difficult for larger employers to match.”
Crozier was recognized for employee programs including:
- lifelong learning assistance program up to $5,000 per calendar year
- Flexible health and wellness benefits
- First-time home buyers assistance program
- Maternity and parental leave top up
- An in-office, hybrid and remote work option program built on employee feedback
“At Crozier, we’ve moved beyond one-size-fits-all solutions, focusing instead on innovative, customized programs that offer real flexibility and support to our team members throughout their careers,” said Janet Hughes, the director of human resources at Crozier, in the news release.
The full list of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers (2024) was announced in a special magazine published by Mediacorp Canada Inc. Detailed ‘reasons for selection’ for each of this year’s winners, including Crozier, were released today by the editors and are accessible via the competition homepage.
