Collingwood Fashion Week is set to serve as a catalyst for fashion and beauty in the Collingwood and South Georgian Bay area.

The fourth annual week-long event will highlight the truly world-class fashion experience that Collingwood’s historic downtown has to offer.

Downtown Collingwood is a unique destination that combines refreshing, stylishly smart offerings in an authentic, evolving environment that people enjoy discovering. The downtown provides a walkable gathering place with unique shops and specialty dining. It provides an appreciation for historic preservation while also being trendy and enjoyable to explore.

The Fashion Week lineup includes in-store fashion shows, designer trunk shows, styling tips, photo shoots and ‘Sip and Shop’ elevated shopping experiences. Each day a selection of micro-events will take place at local fashion and beauty retailers and gallery spaces.

Get into your Fashion Week mode at the gala launch party on Monday, Sept. 23, featuring great music and the best in food and beverages from Prime 79, one of downtown Collingwood’s premier locations. Browse the silent auction for the perfect gift — for you or someone else. Take home a grab bag of goodies and special offers from our downtown businesses. Dress in your best black and white with a touch of pink and get ready for your close-up.

Finish your fabulous Collingwood Fashion Week experience at the wrap party on Friday, Sept. 27. Hosted at the historic Black Bellows restaurant, this black-tie event will be an evening of music, food and fun. The event includes a fashion show presenting the newest in fall designs from our downtown fashion retailers featuring models from Collingwood General & Marine Hospital (CGMH) staff and the innovative 360 photo booth to capture you at your best.

This year, Collingwood Fashion Week proceeds will be donated to the CGMH Foundation to assist in purchasing a new mammography unit with enhanced screening capabilities for better patient outcomes, comfort, and care.

CGMH Foundation is a non-profit organization equipping CGMH with over 90 per cent of all equipment, tools, and technology to serve the healthcare needs of South Georgian Bay. Learn more at cgmhfoundation.com.
