A Collingwood-based consulting firm is celebrating a spot on a list of Canada's Top Growing Companies for the second year in a row.
C.F. Crozier and Associates Inc. again made the rankings put out by the Globe and Mail's 2024 Report on Business, which uses three-year revenue growth to decide which companies to include on the list.
Crozier marked 111 per cent growth over the last three years, according to a news release from the company.
“Being recognized by The Globe and Mail for our continued growth is an honour, especially as Crozier celebrates 20 years in the land development and building industry,” said Chris Crozier, founder and CEO of Crozier, in a news release. “As we set our sights on further expanding on a national scale, we remain committed to delivering client-first solutions and investing in the success of our people.”
Crozier and co-founder Kevin Morris, both professional engineers, started their company in Collingwood in 2004 and working on private sector industrial, residential, commercial and recreational projects across Canada.
The news release from Crozier and Associates notes milestones over the last three years include:
- adding environmental consulting and municipal infrastructure to the services offered,
- launching a company-wide first-time home buyers assistance program, which helps fund a down payment on the purchase of an employee's first home,
- appointed new partners and board members while adding "a record number" of new employee shareholders
- opened a Guelph office (the firm's fifth location in Ontario)
- awards including Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers in 2023 and 2024, the Report on Business ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies in 2023, and more.
Crozier, and any of the companies included in the Canada's Top Growing Companies list, did have to fill out an application process and fulfil the revenue requirements in order to be considered for the list, which included 416 companies.
The full list of 2024 winners along with editorial coverage is published in the October issue of Report on Business magazine. The list is out now and online here.
In order to qualify for the voluntary program, a company had to be Canadian-run and have at least $2 million in annual sales in its most recent fiscal year. Franchisors were ranked on corporate revenue only, not system-wide sales. All revenue figures are in Canadian dollars, unless otherwise indicated.
