The recently elected town council for Collingwood will be inaugurated on Tuesday in a ceremony at Bear Estate.
Seven councillors, a deputy mayor, and the new mayor will declare their oaths of office during the ceremony.
Mayor-elect Yvonne Hamline will deliver an inaugural address as part of the event, which takes place Nov. 15. It will be streamed live on Rogers TV.com starting at 11 a.m.
On October 24, Collingwood voters elected Yvonne Hamlin as the new mayor, she's finishing her first term as a councillor before taking the chain of office.
Tim Fryer will become deputy mayor on Nov. 15 and the seven councillors include Kathy Jeffery, Deb Doherty, Brandon Houston, Chris Potts, Rob Ring, Christopher Baines, and Steve Perry.
The first meeting listed on the Collingwood council calendar is Nov. 23 for a special meeting of council.
