Collingwood’s Junior ‘A’ hockey team is facing its first playoffs game seven tonight on home ice.

The Collingwood Colts have been in a back-and-forth battle for the first round of division playoffs against the Stouffville Spirit.

Collingwood took an early lead with two wins, the spirit answered with two of their own, and they’ve been back and forth since then. Last night, the Colts fell to the Spirit in Stouffville with a final score of 4-2.

Both teams have three victories, and tonight’s result will determine who ends their playoff journey here and who moves on to division finals.

The Colts and the Spirit face off at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena tonight (March 9) at 7:30 p.m.
