Former Collingwood Colts captain signed on for university hockey

The Mike Jackson GM Collingwood Blues want to congratulate alumni and former Blues Captain Adrian Nabuurs (he was captain of the Collingwood Colts last season) on his official commitment to Wilfrid Laurier University. Adrian will play for the Laurier Golden Hawks men’s hockey team starting in the 2020-2021 season.

Adrian Nabuurs was a true leader during his time in Collingwood. He was great in the community, lead by example and knew how to excite people with his smooth skating and terrific offensive skills.

On the ice Adrian Nabuurs posted team leading numbers, scoring six goals and adding 42 assists for 48 points in 19/20, He was also named to the 19/20 All-Star Team. During his Ontario Junior Hockey League career Adrian tallied 93 points in 151 games, scoring 13 goals and racking up 80 assists.

Adrian becomes the first Collingwood Blues player to commit to a university program since the teams return.
