From the heart to the teeth, program offers free dental hygiene care

A local dental hygienist is one of many in her field who will be the hands (holding tools) of the Gift from the Heart project. 

The Canadian initiative offers one-day of no-cost dental hygiene services for those who face financial barriers to accessing dental hygiene care. 

In Collingwood, Sara Masiuk of Blue Horizon Dental Hygiene will be cleaning teeth and gums for the Gift from the Heart project on April 4. 

Anyone can make an appointment, but the service is intended for those who couldn't otherwise afford dental hygiene services. 

Appointments will be booked on a first-come-first-serve basis. You can book a spot by calling the Blue Horizon Dental Hygiene office at 705-446-9996.
