Flamenco guitarist David Sinclair will make his return to the Collingwood stage at the Simcoe Street Theatre on July 12.

The Toronto-born guitarist has dedicated himself to flamenco music for over 20 years.

Flamenco music is an art form based on the various folkloric music traditions of southern Spain.

Sinclair has made Granada, Spain, his home since 2005 and performs throughout the province of Granada and Andalucia, primarily in flamenco peñas (societies), festivals.

As an experienced teacher Sinclair has taught for many years in Waterloo at a highly respected music academy and also teaches flamenco to guitar students from all over the world in Granada.

Sinclair’s last performance in Collingwood in 2022 sold out. Residents have the opportunity to hear this rhythmically fascinating art form once again on Friday, July 12 at 8 p.m. at the Simcoe Street Theatre.
