50th Annual Winterama

The 50th annual Sunnidale Winterama will return to New Lowell this weekend, and runs Jan. 31 to Feb. 2. Family-friendly festivities include a snow sculpture photo contest, a craft market, silent auction and fireworks.

Collingwood Blues game

The Collingwood Blues will be taking on the Mississauga Chargers on Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena.

Magenta

Each year, The Gallery at L.E. Shore’s arts and culture council hosts a colour-themed exhibition, and this year’s colour is magenta. The exhibit’s opening celebration runs at the gallery on Feb. 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. Artists will be on-hand to discuss their work.

Collingwood hip hop artist Cam Mac will take the stage at Taps ‘N’ Tunes on Feb. 1 at 7 p.m.
