Collingwood

Kicking off on June 28 at the Shipyards Amphitheatre, music enthusiasts can enjoy live performances from Bernadette Conners starting at 6:00 p.m. and headliner Hunter at 7:00 p.m.

On June 29, Downtown Collingwood comes alive with the Canada Day Stomp, a music-filled journey through the heart of downtown. The music starts at 11:00 a.m. and runs through to 4:30 p.m.

Also on June 29, there will be a ticketed event for kids and families at Eddie Bush Memorial Arena, featuring live entertainment and activities. For tickets and more information visit www.kidsdaycollingwood.com.

Visit the Town Square Park (across from Town Hall) on Saturday or Sunday and have fun at the LEGO Creative Club Kids Zone. Create and build with over 15,000 LEGO Bricks and 500+ EverBlocks. As part of your visit also enjoy face painting and balloon art.

Canada Day, July 1, begins with a pancake breakfast at 84 Hurontario St. (parkette across from town hall) from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. At the Federal Building, participate in the Citizenship Reaffirmation Ceremony starting at noon followed by a Canada Day cake celebration.

Watch the annual Rubber Duck Race hosted by the Optimist Club starting at 2:00 p.m. at the Hume Street bridge, a beloved tradition in Collingwood. Cap off the celebrations with breathtaking fireworks launched from Millennium Point. The best viewing spots include Harbourview Park, the Shipyards Amphitheatre, and along the Promenade.
