Snow squall warning continued for:

  •    Barrie - Collingwood - Hillsdale
  •    Owen Sound - Blue Mountains - Northern Grey County
  •    Mount Forest - Arthur - Northern Wellington County

Current details:
Lake effect snow squalls continue.

What:
Additional local snowfall accumulations of 10 to 15 cm.
Near zero visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow.

When:
Continuing through this afternoon.

Additional information:
Intermittent snow squalls will continue through this afternoon before tapering to light flurries this evening. Gusty winds are producing significantly reduced visibility in blowing snow.

Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Travel is expected to be extremely hazardous due to reduced visibility. Road closures are likely.

Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
