People can expect to see military helicopters in the area next week as the Canadian Armed Forces conducts training.
The Canadian Special Operations Forces Command will conduct routine training in central and eastern Ontario from Jan. 23 to 25. The training is expected to take place between 1 and 10 p.m.
Up to four CH-146 Griffon helicopters will be travelling between Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Petawawa, CFB Borden, and the 4th Canadian Division Training Centre in Meaford, and there may be brief periods of increased noise, the Department of National Defence said in a news release.
“The Canadian Special Operations Forces Command is extremely thankful for the support and understanding of the local residents during this valuable training.”
