Starting tomorrow, you won’t be able to park overnight on Collingwood's streets.

As of Dec. 1, Collingwood’s winter parking restrictions take effect prohibiting parking on town streets and in town parking lots between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m.

The only exception to the rule is vehicles with overnight parking permits for municipal lots. To apply for an overnight permit, visit town hall.

These restrictions are in place to allow the town to clear snow and put down sand or salt when necessary, according to the Collingwood.ca website.

For more on winter parking contact the clerk services department by phone at 705-445-1030 or via email here. ([email protected])
