The Our Collingwood mural was unveiled yesterday (April 27) evening to reveal 42 portraits of Collingwood residents taken by local youth photographers.

Mounted on the side of the Fathom Boards building at First and Spruce Streets, the 60-foot mural is the result of talks between the Unity Collective and Collingwood Youth Council.

John Cardillo Jr., Emma Thornwell and Kaiden Collver captured portraits of a diverse group of Collingwood residents for the project.

The stories of the people featured in the mural will be posted to a companion website at ourcollingwood.com, which is not active yet.
