Collingwood Collegiate Institute's junior football team won a regional title yesterday after a 34-6 victory over St. Peters Catholic Secondary School.
The Fighting Owls won the Georgian Bay Secondary School Association (GBSSA) championships on Nov. 13 at the Georgian College Turf Field in Barrie.
The team finished the season with nine wins and one loss, and a short bench of 28 players.
The Owls earned 242 points with 61 scored against this season.
