Inspired by more than two centuries of brewing and distilling history in Collingwood, the annual Craft Beverage Tour is back for the fourth year.

The tour, which began in November 2020 during COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, was created to support and highlight local beverage producers as Collingwood's tourism and manufacturing industries continue to grow.

Since then, the tour has won industry awards for its focus on economic development.

This year, the tour includes a passport and self-guided tours with prizes to be won.

“Building on the success of the award-winning Collingwood Craft Beverage Tour, we’re very excited to showcase our local craft beverage producers by offering a passport to encourage people to experience all of them this fall! From artfully crafted spirits to hoppy brews, there's a variety of options to choose from at our family-friendly breweries and distilleries,” said Johanna Griggs, manager of economic development for the Town of Collingwood in a news release.

The passports are available now from local producers. Those who collect five of the seven stamps available by Nov. 30 will be eligible to win prizes.

Participating producers include The Collingwood Brewery, Heretic Spirits, Northwinds Brewhouse and Kitchen, Side Launch Brewing Company, Freshwater Distillery, Georgian Bay Spirit Company, and Black Bellows.
