Snow squall watch issued for:
   Barrie - Orillia - Midland, Ont. (044100)
   Owen Sound - Blue Mountains - Northern Grey County, Ont. (046220)

Current details:
Snow squalls possible beginning tonight.

What:
Locally heavy snowfall with accumulations of 15 to 30 cm likely.
Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 4 cm per hour.
Very poor to nil visibility at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.

When:
Tonight through Thursday night.

Additional information:
Heavy flurries along with the risk of a snow squall are forecast beginning this evening as a cold front moves through. In the wake of the cold front snow squalls from Georgian Bay will affect the region overnight through Thursday night. The highest snowfall amounts may occur in the Collingwood to Meaford areas.

Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Road closures are possible.
