Summer programs will be starting up at the Collingwood Museum soon, with enrolment now open.

Enrolment is now open for the Collingwood Museum's summer programming.

Throughout July and August, children ages 6 to 12 will have the opportunity to travel the world, jump through time and get up close and personal with nature without leaving Collingwood.

Museum programs run in three-hour sessions between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m., Monday to Thursday, throughout the summer months.

The cost is $12 per program. Current museum members receive a reduced enrolment fee of $10 per program.

Each week offers a theme of connected programs that include outdoor play, crafts, and history.

In Legendary Tales, staff are bringing stories alive by exploring the wonderous world of legends and myths.

In Imagination Station, participants will let their creativity shine while creating masterpieces and memorable performances.

Participants are the players in Fun and Games as they explore games, new and old, from around the globe.

In Heroes of History, participants become their own hero, as well as recognizing the heroes within their community.

There 31 different programs to choose from, including Kids’ Garden, Time Warp, Breaking News, and Big Ideas.

Each program incorporates unique hands-on crafts, interactive group-based games, and storytelling to encourage participants to get excited about history and the world around them.

Sign-up for one program, an entire week, or the whole summer. Spaces are limited.
