Collingwood Community Tennis Club proudly unveiled a new storage shed recently made possible by the support of Collingwood’s Optimist Club

“The Optimist Club has been a huge supporter of the junior tennis program since the club’s inception,” said tennis club chairperson, Lisa Meadow. “They have donated funds for equipment and additional funding to allow the Collingwood Community Tennis Club to keep the fees low and allow the club to offer tennis memberships, after school, and summer camp programs at an affordable price to our community.”

This year, the Optimist Club built and donated a storage shed for the tennis club, which was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the end-of-season adult tennis tournament earlier this month. The shed was installed at the tennis courts at Kinsmen Park.
