NEWS RELEASE
HOSPICE GEORGIAN TRIANGLE FOUNDATION

There was a particularly generous roar in the Erie Street neighbourhood on Sunday, Aug. 25 as the members of the Wasaga Beach Corvette Club arrived to deliver their annual donation to the staff of the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation and Campbell House.
Wasaga Beach Corvette Club is a non-profit social club based in Wasaga Beach with members from the Southern Georgian Bay area and beyond. Every year, the club supports local charities through its fundraising efforts – primarily the club’s annual Spring Fling event held in May. Over the past few years, the club’s focus has changed from hosting its well-received Beach Cruize event to concentrating on social activities with its members and invited guests.
For the third year in a row, Wasaga Beach Corvette Club members have supported the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation to provide funding for the operations of Campbell House.
Hospice Georgian Triangle has cared for 793 patients and their families within Campbell House since opening the doors on Aug. 4, 2014. They support an additional 350+ patients in their own homes and in our community every year.
“We all know someone who has been cared for at Campbell House. We want to make sure we take care of Hospice so they can continue to take care of our neighbours when it’s needed,” said Kevin Daniels, president of the Wasaga Beach Corvette Club.
