Simcoe County provides notice that Waste Connections is reporting that they were unable to complete recycling and organics collection in some additional areas today as generally described below. They’ve indicated that they will attempt to return to the missed areas in Collingwood on Tuesday, July 14, as time and available resources permit.

  • Collingwood – a portion of Cameron St. to Campbell and everything in between and off of Campbell.

Collection impacts are communicated to the public through messaging on www.simcoe.ca, as well as directly to subscribers to the ‘Simcoe County Collects’ mobile app. Residents are encouraged to download the free app through Google Play or the App Store. Residents can also subscribe for waste collection alerts at www.simcoe.ca/wastereminder. Residents should be directed to contact the County’s Customer Service Centre at 1-800-263-3199 or [email protected] for additional information if required.
