Vaccine clinics in Thornbury, Collingwood, Wasaga welcome walk-ins this week

Some restrictions apply, but the clinics are open to local residents and no appointment is necessary

There are several COVID-19 vaccination clinics offering walk-in spots to area residents this week. 

In Collingwood, the Aug. 4 and 6 clinics at the Legion are accepting walk-ins for first and second dose vaccination between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. 

In Wasaga Beach, walk-in spots are available at the Aug. 3 and 5 clinics at the RecPlex between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. 

Both the Legion and RecPlex clinics are set up as drive-thrus, but those receiving a vaccine could also walk or ride a bike through the clinic. 

To get a walk-in spot at the Collingwood or Wasaga clinics, you must be 12 years of age or older and a resident of Simcoe-Muskoka region.

In Thornbury, there will be clinics every day this week with appointments available through the TBM vaccines website, and all the clinics have walk-in space available as well. 

The Thornbury clinics take place at The Blue Mountains Community Health Centre (78 King St. East) on Aug. 4, 5, and 6 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. 

There will be a pop-up clinic at Thornbury Foodland on Aug. 4 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and one at the Beaver Valley Community Centre on Aug. 6 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. No appointment is necessary for the two pop-up clinics.
