This weekend’s performances by Royal Wood have been postponed.

Wood announced he has the flu and has lost his voice, leaving him unable to sing.

“However, I truly want to perform for you so I have asked for the dates to be moved,” stated the announcement by Wood.

The concerts were supposed to take place tonight (Dec. 13) and tomorrow (Dec. 14), but will be moved to January 3 and 4, both at 7 p.m. at the Simcoe Street Theatre.

Wood stated this was the first time he had to miss a show due to illness.

Those who bought tickets for this weekend who cannot make the new dates should email Ticketscene at [email protected]. Wood’s announcement stated they will be issuing a full refund to customers who cannot make the new dates. Those seeking a refund must contact ticketscene by Dec. 20.
