Join us at the Simcoe County Museum for the annual Simcoe County Quilt, Rug and Craft Fair running Sept. 14 – 16, 2018. Curious about how lace was made? Ever wonder what a loom is, or how it works?
Quilting, embroidery, rug hooking, spinning, hand weaving, and lace making are just some of the beautiful heritage-style crafts that you will see being created, displayed, and for sale during the event.
Spark your own creativity by observing clever techniques, and speaking with skilled crafters. You can also purchase supplies, or one-of-a-kind products at the Fair.
Whether you’re an amateur or an expert, chances are you won’t leave empty-handed. Learn, discover, and partake in all the best the local crafting world has to offer in Simcoe County.
The Fair runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Event rates apply for the Quilt, Rug and Craft Fair: Museum members and preschoolers are free; adults $8; youth and seniors $6; and children are $5.
The Simcoe County Museum is located at 1151 Highway 26, just minutes north of Barrie. For more information, visit the Museum’s website or call 705-728-3721.
