   Owen Sound - Blue Mountains - Northern Grey County
   Innisfil - New Tecumseth - Angus

Current details:
Winter weather travel advisory in effect.

What:
Local snowfall amounts near 10 cm.
Reduced visibility in areas of heavier snow.

When:
Tonight. Lake effect flurries begin Monday and continue through Tuesday or Wednesday.

Discussion:
A low pressure system will begin to affect the region tonight bringing a brief period of heavy snowfall. The snow may become mixed with rain by Monday morning. Lake effect flurries off Lake Huron will begin Monday afternoon and continue through Tuesday or Wednesday. Local snowfall amounts through Tuesday may exceed 10 cm depending on where lake effect snow bands set up.

Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
