Died peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood at the age of 82.
Sharon was born and raised in the town of Collingwood to Florence and “Cap” Jardine. Sharon was the beloved wife of Graydon, “Gary” for 63 years. Gary, who was a sailor in the Royal Canadian Navy met Sharon when his ship was docked at the Collingwood Shipyard at the young ages of 17 and 19. They married two years later. Early years they lived in Halifax, but eventually came back to Collingwood where they would settle and start their family.
Loving mother of Shelley, Brian and Terri-lyn (Rob). Cherished grandmother of Corina (Ryan), Sara, Meghan, Ashlyn and great-grandmother of Madlyn, Hannah, Ryder, Dylan, Finn and Nora. Dear sister of the late Marion (Jim) Urie and the late Donald (Laura) Jardine. Lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends.
Sharon was a Registered Nursing Assistant. She loved to travel with Gary, and golf. In their later years they spent their winters in Florida, where they loved and continued to make wonderful memories together. Sharon will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
