Robyn Suzanne Bandy-Brown, born May 30, 1956, in Digby, NS passed away peacefully after a long illness at Hospice Georgian Triangle with family by her side on Friday February 14, 2025.

She is survived by her husband Dan, daughters Naomi and Meagan, younger brothers Richard and Russell, foster brother Rod Fowler, and an extended family of Scullys, Thomsons, Jerreds, and Browns.

Robyn loved her family with every fiber of her being and was fiercely protective.  She also loved animals and through the years had an evolving menagerie of dogs, cats, birds, and fish.

Robyn and her siblings were raised by their mother June Bandy and the family moved back and forth several times between Toronto and a chalet June had built on a property at the base of Blue Mountain in 1963.

When Robyn was 14, June moved the family from Toronto to the chalet for the last time, and Robyn went from walking to Jarvis Collegiate in downtown Toronto to riding a school bus 26 km to Meaford, where she attended and graduated from GBSS.  After June passed in 1982, Robyn moved back to the “house that June built” and remained there to work in Hospitality at Blue Mountain and raise her family.

A private family service will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood on Thursday February 20 at 1 p.m.  A reception will be held at The Huron Club (upper lounge) following the service from 2-4 p.m. and friends are welcome to attend to share stories and celebrate Robyn.
