Died peacefully on Wednesday January 22, 2025 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood, surrounded by his family at the age of 95. Bob, formerly of Sunnidale Township, now of Stayner, beloved husband of the late Marie (2019). Loving father of Susan (Malcolm Clarke) and David (Lori). Cherished grandpa of Kathryn (Chris), Maggie, Jessica (Tyler), Dan (Shauna), Cassie (John) and Rachel (Daniel) and great grandfather of Cullen, Lauren, Gilbert, Simon, Callum, MaryKate, Lillian, Wesley, Ila, Ben, Rosie and Phinehas. Dear brother of the late Jean (the late Howard Macham), Dorothy (the late Doug Giffen), the late Bill (Myrtle) and June (the late Willard Everton). Bob will also be missed by his numerous nieces and nephews, his friends and neighbours. Bob was a life long dairy farmer. He was committed to his family and his community. He was dedicated to the Northern Light Lodge, Manito Shrine and the Stayner Order of the Eastern Star. His faith was centered at the Zion Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and Clerk of Session. He will be missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Friday January 24, 2025 from 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Jubilee Presbyterian Church, 7320 Highway 26, Stayner on Saturday January 25, 2025 at 2 o’clock.
