Bell, Carole Anne (nee Shelley)
On Friday, January 12, 2023, Carole Anne Bell went home to be with her Lord and Saviour. She went peacefully surrounded by her family in her daughter and son-in-law’s home after a lengthy battle with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She was the beloved wife of Glen Bell for almost 65 years, adored mother of Wayne (Samantha) Bell & Wendy (William) Hawthorne, cherished Magra/Grandma to Zechariah, Hannah, Veronica & Greggory; sister to Gail Cheesman & Marilyn Brown, and matriarch of a 60 plus person family. She is predeceased by her parents Wallace & Gladys Shelley.
Carole will forever be known for her great love and loyalty to her family and friends. She enjoyed travelling with her husband every winter to Florida as well as many trips across Canada, the United State and even to Venezuela. Her hobbies were gardening, bird watching, knitting, crocheting, and canning. Her wisdom and big heart were two of her most endearing qualities that will forever be remembered by all that were blessed to meet her.

Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Thursday January 18, 2024 from 7 to 9 p.m. the Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel Friday January 19, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow.
