BOURGEOIS, Patricia Maureen (nee Harrison)

Died peacefully on Tuesday September 17, 2024 at General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 77. Pat of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of Gerry for over 30 years.  Loving mother of Dan (Lynn) Plaggenborg and the late Mark Plaggenborg.  Cherished grandmother of Melissa (Mike) and James and great grandmother of Jacob and Violet.  Dear sister of Dan Harrison and the late Shawn (Kim) Harrison. Cherished Aunt to Angie and Jennifer. She will also be missed by her canine companion Bree, her large extended family, her Walmart Colleagues and her neighbours.  Pat was a kind soul with a tough exterior.  You always knew where you stood and if you wanted her opinion, she would tell it like it was regardless of what you hoped to hear, perhaps with an F-bomb or two!  Pat’s passion was for her dogs.  She loved her pets and cared deeply for their well-being.  She was an integral member of the Wasaga Beach Walmart team, as one of the original employees who set up the store 17 years ago.  She will be deeply missed.  Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home -Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Saturday September 28, 2024, from 1:30 pm for the Memorial Service in the chapel at 3 o’clock.  Reception to follow.
