It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nancy Brown “Bobby” on Monday August 26, 2024.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband David Brown (2015) and her son Chris (2019).
Her children Gary (Vanessa) and Mary Ann were blessed to have her as their proud and loving mother. Her grandchildren Jessie, Tiana, Makayla, Avery, Brandon, Christian, Devon, Jayden and Marlena and great grandson Elijah will cherish their memories of Bobby as an amazing grandma. She is survived by her sister Margaret Traxler; predeceased by her brother Jim Traxler.
Nancy was strong, stubborn and feisty. She always told you the way it is and would put you in your place if needed. She was also full of love. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others. She was hardworking, kind and caring.
Her grandchildren were the light of her life; she loved all her family, and we loved her right back. She will be deeply missed but remembered forever.
Family and friends will be received for visitation at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Thursday September 5, 2024, from 1-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society can be made in Nancy’s memory.
