FISHER, Joan Harasimiw

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Joan Harasimiw Fisher, at the age of 94.   She passed away peacefully at the IOOF seniors home.

She is predeceased by her husband Les Fisher and survived by her daughter Ferne, and the Fisher children and grandchildren.

She spent a lifetime of helping others, her couch was always full of troubled teens, ill seniors and lost strangers.

Her stories about workers at the G&M kept us entertained until the last of her memory left.

A thousand thank you's to all staff at the IOOF senior home, from the nurses and psws, to the cleaners and kitchen staff for adding a "grandma" to your life.
