Died peacefully on Thursday September 12, 2024 at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland at the age of 73.
Debbie of Wasaga Beach, formerly of Mississauga, beloved wife of Kurt for over 33 years. Loving mother of Heidi Fliegel, Rachel Young and Heather Fliegel (Tom). Cherished grandmother of Madison (Cole), Krista (Sebastian) and Neelie (Mado). Dear sister of Gloria Wiscombe and predeceased by sisters Janet Foster, Sandra Buhagiar and Betty Turnbull. Debbie will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews, many friends and her neighbours.
Debbie was a kind and outgoing woman who made friends easily. She was a talented and artistic crafter and floral designer, operating K&D Flowers and Crazy Baskets for many years. Many of her creations are cherished keepsakes.
Friends are invited to join her family on Saturday October 5, 2024 from 2 to 7 p.m.at the Wasaga Beach Lions’ Den, 1724 Mosley Street, Wasaga Beach to celebrate Debbie’s life. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
