It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stephanie Grace Flynn on July 27th, peacefully at Campbell House Hospice Georgian Triangle after a defiant battle with cancer. Stephanie is predeceased by her daughter Erin who passed away earlier this year and survived by her son Andrew as well as her six grandchildren - Elle, William, Luke, Cameron, Braeden and Caitlin. Andrew’s partner Shirlee has been a huge source of love and support for Stephanie these last few years.

Stephanie was born in London, Ontario June 28th, 1945, and grew up there, eventually attending the University of Western Ontario. After marrying, she settled in Toronto to raise her family. With a strong family connection to Collingwood, Ontario, Stephanie moved here permanently to enjoy her days gardening, golfing and being with her friends.

Stephanie loved many things; she loved to laugh, she loved to spend time with her friends and she loved shoes…..so many shoes!! But most of all, her legacy and greatest love was always her kids and grandkids. She loved being both Mom and Grandma (Ma) and loved her family more than anything.

Stephanie was very lucky to have found such a strong, loyal and fun friendship group here, and we are so appreciative to all of them. She loved to share a glass of wine with her friends anytime. Stephanie enjoyed many great times and friendships from her connections to The Georgian Bay Club, Blue Mountain Golf Club and Collingwood Curling Club.

Lastly, we want to thank Dr. Boyd, as well as the entire team at Campbell House Hospice for the love, care and grace that was given to my mom these final months.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in Stephanie’s honour to Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House.

There will be a Ceremony of Life on Wednesday August 7th at Fawcett Funeral Home. Details 1:00 pm Visitation 2:00pm Service followed by a reception.

We look forward to seeing you and celebrating the life of my mom.
